Terms of service
These terms cover your use of CyberGuard, a service operated by Green Universal Services (“GusForce”, “we”). By using CyberGuard you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organization you use it for.
What CyberGuard does — and doesn’t
CyberGuard checks the platforms you register from the outside, every day, and reports security problems in plain language. It detects and reports; it does not block traffic, act as a firewall, or guarantee that a platform is secure. No scanner finds everything. A clean result means the checks we ran found no problem, not that none exist.
Accounts
- Accounts are by invitation. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you’re responsible for activity on your account.
- Organization owners decide who joins their team and what each person can do.
Only monitor what you’re allowed to
You may register a platform only if you own it or have permission from its owner to monitor it. Our scanning & authorization policy explains exactly what the checks do. Active security testing is separate: it runs only on platforms whose owner has given written authorization, and only when enabled for your plan.
Go Fix
Go Fix proposes changes and, where you’ve connected a service, can make limited, reversible ones for you — for example opening a pull request for you to review, or adding a DNS record. Pull requests are never merged for you. You remain responsible for reviewing and deploying changes to your systems.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use CyberGuard to scan, test or harm systems you aren’t authorized to monitor.
- Don’t try to access another organization’s data, or to disrupt the service.
- Don’t resell or share access outside your organization without our agreement.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules, and will tell you why.
Your data
You own the information you put into CyberGuard. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep CyberGuard available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable. We may improve or change features; if a change materially reduces what you rely on, we’ll tell account owners in advance.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, GusForce is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for security incidents on your platforms, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for CyberGuard in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the service
You can stop using CyberGuard at any time and ask us to delete your organization’s data. We may end the service for an organization with reasonable notice, or immediately for serious misuse.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Green Universal Services is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
